ROANOKE, Va. (April 2023) – The Roanoke Regional Airport Commission (RRAC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Alexa Briehl as the RRAC’s new Public Relations, Marketing, and Media Manager effective April 4.

“We are pleased to welcome Alexa to the RRAC team during a time of tremendous opportunity to grow awareness about the airport’s important role in the regional economy,” said Mike Stewart, RRAC executive director. “All of the recent announcements regarding new businesses and jobs coming to the region are an indicator that accelerated regional economic growth is on the horizon, and along with it the demand for air travel should grow as well. Alexa’s breadth of experiences in customer-centric public relations roles, enthusiasm, and commitment to building relationships will enable her to hit the ground running.”

Briehl will be responsible for the development and implementation of a broad range of public relations and marketing programs.
