Please be advised that there will be a special virtual joint meeting of the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., and in the Airport Commission Conference Room. The sole purpose of this meeting will be to conduct a closed meeting to discuss and consider prospective candidates for employment, pursuant to section 2.2-3711.A.(1), Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, and discussion of the award of a public contract involving the expenditure of public funds, including interviews of bidders or offerors, pursuant to section 2.2-3711.A.(29), Code of Virginia (1950), as amended.
No other action of the Commission is expected at this meeting.
Because of present state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and until further notice, the public cannot be accommodated physically in proximity to the Commissioner and Staff Participants. Meeting will be set up through Zoom here.
Please note for purposes of planning to participate in the meeting remotely, members will be required to state the location (a general description such as home, office, or other) from which they are participating for purposes of compliance with new state law related to participation in electronic meetings during the COVID-19 crisis. The location will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting.
